Summer Glau has two sisters and she’s the eldest of the three. Her father is a general contractor and mother is a school teacher. Summer is of Scottish and German descent. She was a professional ballet dancer in her childhood so was home-schooled by her mom from Grade 3 to 12. Summer Glau’s childhood dream was to become an actress so she began to appear in commercials and theatre productions. She first appeared on TV as a guest star in ‘Angel’. Her other guest appearances include ‘Cold Case’, ‘CSI’ etc. She appeared in a movie ‘Sleepover’ and also landed recurring roles in ‘The Unit’ and ‘The 4400’.
