Brian Austin Green to Have a Short Stint in Smallville

From confronting cybrogs in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” to a cyborg villain in “Smallville”, Brian Austin Green is certainly going from white to black. Though he is going to be part of a few episodes of this sci-fi show he can definitely make a lasting impact on the audiences if his performance in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” is any indication

“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” exploited the acting talent of Brian Austin in optimum manner. His portrayal of Derek Reese was studded with all the vital ingredients to make a fictional character come alive on the television screen. Though he is having a short stint on “Smallville”, even brief appearances become milestones if there is substance in an actor’s performance. Brian Austin can definitely prove to be the ace that might result in the sudden spree in the ratings of this show as it happened with his inclusion in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”

“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”, that was based on the terminator movie series was like a joy ride that ended abruptly. To cancel a show that had the potential to be among the list of best television shows ever was really a strange decision. Five blockbuster movies based on this concept have already been released to pacify the consistent interest of the public in terminator series. So to end “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” after two seasons only is pure injustice to this TV shows huge fan following.

But as far as entertaining us is concerned, the show has not done any injustice at all. Let us all relive the whole sci-fi experience of man Man V/S Machine in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” once again by catching up with its episodes by downloading them from this website.

Season One Review

The second season is just a few days away and till then let’s have a look on first season once again. The first season contained many new surprises for differentiating it from the movies. The first surprise was introduction of a new female Terminator, Cameron Phillips, who is the second most important female in John’s life. She was actually introduced to make John less dependent upon his mother, as now in second season he has to grow up and has to confront all the threats to his life at his own.

Cameron was introduced in the pilot episode. In this episode it is shown that Sarah and John are staying somewhere since two years and now suddenly Sarah has started feeling uncomfortable and wants to leave this place and later on, her intuition proves to be correct as both Sarah and John again face threat to their lives. In second episode she meets an old friend and gets new assumed identities, meanwhile FBI agent Ellison learns that Sarah is alive. In third episode she was searching the creator of Skynet. In ‘Heavy Metal’, John has got apart from Sarah and Cameron during a cargo search and he has to prove his abilities as future military leader.

On the other hand Sarah has to make efforts to avoid the future war. In ‘The Demon Hand’, Cameron joins Ballet classes and Sarah discovers a file from Ellison’s house regarding her stay in mental hospital in the past and John also comes to know why his mother absconded from the mental hospital.

Later John contemplates whether he can become the future leader of mankind. In the finale episode, the events go out of hand of Sarah and John, Ellison is busy in different quest. Over all the season was full of action and chaos for Sarah and John.

In this season, John uses his computer skills well and learns about a computerized traffic system which is necessary for Skynet. Throughout the season, Sarah and John are keen to stop Skynet’s development. They are having the same strategy as their enemies had in the first movie ‘Terminator’. Like, they wanted to kill Sarah before John’s birth similarly now John doesn’t want to let Skynet emerge.

What’s fresh in the second season?

Terminator has definitely earned uncountable number of fans and same is the number of people looking for the latest chunks about the upcoming season. So, don’t worry guys, writers are doing everything to enhance the charm of ‘Terminator’ for you. You will find a liberal John with charming appearance, as he has got rid of his hair hiding his face while working on computer. Now he will appear with short hair and with a new active look as well as attitude.

Recently, Stars and creators of the show gathered at comic con to show a few glimpses and to share a word about the second season. They told that in the second season there will be tensions between John and Sarah about their inter-personal relationship. Sarah is extremely caring about John as ever before, but as the boy has grown up, he’s sixteen now, he wants to get rid of her care-cage and wants to live his life at his own. He wants a normal life like other teens and supposedly he will start living separately and would get training now to deal with all the risks of his life, himself.

This means, we won’t find him in this season sitting in front of computer all the time, rather he will be in action this time like Sarah’s part since the first ‘Terminator’ movie. I must say that this is the real development of the story; after all, the future hero is now going to step into action, as he has to lead the Human Resistance group in 2010. But I was thinking that it took too long, after three movies and one season of series. Anyways it’s better late than never.

Now I am also looking forwards for possibilities of a few more seasons of terminator, as there were rumors after first season finale that the show might get cancelled. But thanks to creators and ratings of the show that nothing happened like that.

You know, one more, funny fact about Lena Heady was revealed at comic con, which kicked off laughter. Actually the creators wanted Lena to wear tank tops to make hotter appearance, but she has so many tattoos on her body and it takes hours for make-up artists to hide her tattoos for costumes she wears.

Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles - A flash back

Terminator- The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an American Science Fiction television series, which picks up the things exactly one year after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This Warner Bros. production moves around the eventful lives of fictional characters Sarah and John Connor. Sarah has recently shelled out the terminator sent from the future to kill her son, John. Now they both are going through a very complex world as fugitives with a fear in mind, every moment several enemies from past, present and the future are following them and they can be attacked at any time. Their life is just running…. running and running and no stays at all, if they even think to take any shelter, some more unexpected tragedies do happen and they are once again set to run faster than the time!!

Tired from such kinda frustrating and embarrassing life, and realizing that things will never be over, they decide to stop running. Sarah prefers to go on the offensive against the Terminators set on finishing her life. John, the 15 year old boy, knows that he’s the only one to save mankind, but he is not ready to take on the responsibility of his destiny. Cameron is John’s fellow student at his high school that protects John and Sarah from life threatening creatures. Sarah decides to take a change of scenery and she and John expose themselves to FBI Agent James Ellison and Skynet’s Army of terminators. Sarah informs all of them that judgment day is not blocked and will take place in 2011.

Time Again for Sarah

Lena Headey is amazing in the role of Sarah Connor in Terminator. Can you imagine anybody else in this character? I don’t think anybody else will fit into the role this perfectly. She handles the tough role of a warrior along with cherishing feminine factor. She can be called tough and hot in its true sense. I liked her most in very first movie Terminator, when she is single and John hasn’t entered into her life. Then a Terminator from the future chases her to kill her and Reese rescues her. Kyle Reese is a soldier from future and supposedly, he is the father of John Connor. In the end of Terminator, he dies and Sarah decides to become a mentor for John. Now she has to save John from the future Terminators as they wanted to eradicate John’s family before his birth, because he is gonna be leader of future human resistance group.

Later two more parts of movie came forth and got immense success. Finally she landed into the, Terminator- Sarah Connor Chronicles, now on silver screen. But silver screen couldn’t confine the overwhelming impact of the Terminator. She is equally amazing in this series as well. I have always liked her in action, and there are very few females in Hollywood who can do justice with the action sequences.
Did you have her close look when she is sweating and running along with John, she looks gorgeous there. And as far as I know she is always without make up in those scenes. Her great looks add a different spice to her character.

Although, it was announced that the series will be having fewer action in comparison to the previous movies, but still the action content is enough and it’s hard to notice the lower degree of action. Lena has done equal hard work for the series as well, and you can hardly differentiate between the movie and the show. The series is actually based upon the first two movies only and it has ignored the third one, ‘Rise of Machines’. This fact gave an advantage to Lena’s role as she had to play Sarah in it’s actual form as it started from the Terminator one.

Terminator gets two guests

Second season of Terminator- Sarah Connor Chronicles is about to arrive in September and for the new season Terminator has got new faces as new characters. These are Leven Rambin and Garret Dillahunt. Leven Rambin is basically an actress from soap operas. She is going to portray the character of a school girl Riley, who wants to be friend of John Connor. There is no any evil motive behind her friendship; she is just a normal with no connections with terminators as well as Sarah and John’s quest. She is pretty excited for being the part of Terminator’s new season.

Although I don’t think she has got any kind of important role in the series, but if writers have allowed her a chunk then it must be in the flow of the story.

The other guest is a male character and it’s not a human being but a robot instead. It will be portrayed by Garret Dillahunt. He is a popular character actor of silver screen. He appeared in ER, Book of Daniel where Leven has also worked with him. Besides this he has worked in Deadwood and John From Cincinnati. Other than Rambin he is a film actor as well. He has acted in The Assassination Of Jessee James and NO Country For Old Men.

So coming back to the main point of his role in Terminator, he is gonna play the role of a robot, who will add some humor to the show. As due to some glitches this robot can be seen doing some unobvious things. Secondly his character has been designed as a fearless robot and he pretends like he is enjoying.

Garret is said to be a workaholic, and choosy about roles. About this character he was of the opinion that playing a robot is an easy task but when he started working on it, this was completely opposite to it.

Anyways I think Garret has got the better role in comparison to Levene, as her role is of a light hearted person, but a robot is always tough and center attraction of scenes of his presence.
